Comfortable stay with friendly staff

I had a pleasant stay with a clean and spacey room, making it easy to unwind after a long day. The staff were incredibly welcoming and provided excellent service, which made a positive impact on my overall experience. the breakfast offerings could benefit from more variety.

Not bad for a quick business stay

The reception staff were polite and helpful, gave me a warm welcome right off the bat. And the bar area? It had a nice vibe, I could’ve stayed there for a while, even just to sip on a drink and unwind, but had to get to work.

the holiday inn is conveniently located near the national cycling centre, making it great for events. my room had tea and coffee facilities, which I appreciated. the breakfast was adequate, and the english lady serving was really welcoming. many guests liked how close this hotel is to man city fc.

During my stay, I loved being just under a 15-minute walk to the beautiful Philips Park and enjoying the vibrant nearby Northern Quarter filled with unique bars, making it perfect for my weekend explorations. although the decor seemed a little dated, the staff was friendly and eager to help when needed.

The stay was challenging as I arrived only to find the hotel was no longer open to the public and was housing asylum seekers. The security staff was polite and informed me of this, but not having prior notice left me scrambling for accommodation. the situation was disappointing and not reflective of a typical hotel experience.

Dinner service was disappointing. we faced a 70-minute wait for our meal, which arrived poorly executed. Morning disturbances from other guests, combined with an unreachable reception, added to the frustration. the gourmet pizzas were a highlight, and the room itself was adequately comfortable for our one-night stay.
